this photo was taken last fall when my youngest son gabriel had to visit the ER, of course late on a saturday night. this is one of those instances where a rangefinders excells. one can work unobtrusively, there is no huge SLR in the faces of the subjects, virtually no sound.

the image looks different on the web than in photoshop. blogging/photoshop/photography... I am still very much a student of it all.
