...my wife and i strolled into a large gathering of people on a town square, all focused on something to appear from the cathedral grounding that 'plaza'. after some patient waiting, the statue of a saint appeared led and followed by a long procession of young and old, many carrying candles. quite a surreal feeling for a lutheran swede like myself.
