que the drums, please! small family celebration today. wife/kids are coming back from vacation, i haven't seen them in a a month (!) so bare with me if i don't post too much the next couple of days.

this image was taken during the warm up to the marine corps sunset parade. it is an event that takes place every tuesday at the iwo-jima memorial in arlington, va during the summer. a well visited event with both drill platoon and music, and visitors have a fabulous view over washington, dc as the sun sets.
